Luca Giacobbe, born in 1994, is a multifaceted musician with a burning passion for drums, percussion, composition and performance. Since he was young, Luca has been attracted by electronic and contemporary music, demonstrating a strong instinct in the research and development of new musical languages.
His musical training led him to obtain multiple Conservatory degrees, enriching his skills and understanding of musical theory and practice.
Luca has had the opportunity to perform at internationally prestigious festivals, including the GRAME in Lyon, the REF in Rome, the MALTAFESTIVAL, the Nuova Consonanza festival, the Sagra Malatestiana, Arte e Scienza, the Nanjing Forest Music Festival and the Ravenna Festival. These experiences have enriched his artistic path, allowing him to explore new musical horizons and share his art with an increasingly wider audience.
Some prominent names with whom he played are: Mario Biondi, Amy P. Stewart, Franco Micalizzi, Roberta Giallo, Valentino Corvino, Hector Ulises Passarea, Matysol Schalit, José Carreras, Marco Attura and many others.
He has also played with important orchestral formations such as the Italian Cinema Orchestra, the Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Malta, Blow Up Percussion and ARSLudi.
Luca has also contributed to several recording projects, playing for renowned labels such as Rare Noise Records, Collegno and Stradivarius, adding his talent and versatility to a variety of musical productions.
Among his recording projects he also played in "Elevator man" by Lorenzo Feliciati and in some soundtracks by Canadian composer Zac Tiessen.
